In 2010 we were looking to rent a beach home that met all of our criteria:

• We wanted something in a small, family-friendly town.  
• We wanted to be in walking distance of restaurants and within a 30 minute drive of a city. 
• The house had to be direct oceanfront, not across the street or on the sound.  
• It had to be professionally decorated with items that looked to be from the last decade.
• It had to be perfect for kids.
• It had to have an elevator for strollers, groceries or wheelchairs.  
• And it had to be furnished with modern decor, amenities and top of the line technology.

We looked and looked, but we couldn't find a match in our price range...so we created one.

Welcome to DoubleWood on the Beach, a home that we created for our family, but that we're excited to share with yours.
